In our “Fast Forward: Reflections on School Band” series, Jupiter followed up with a group of high school band members that filmed a commercial with us in their middle school years. After being asked why band was important to them through their secondary school years, these students shared many of the same themes of belonging, teamwork, leadership, responsibility and more.
Band isn’t just about music—it’s about showing up, stepping up, and growing up. In this episode of our Fast Forward series, we hear from a former high school band student and her mom as they reflect on how band teaches lifelong responsibility and how band parents become a vital support system for every student.
